While I could go on for days about the negative effects of COVID, it also forced advances in medicine and technology; forged communities and countries together; and changed how products, services and events are delivered.

Today, I’m focusing on the how the pandemic changed the way people make purchases, which in turn, corresponds to your marketing.
I’m referring to this marketing trend as: Instead of the customer coming to you, go to your customer.
Why?
Because consumers have gotten used to having products and services delivered quickly to their door, phone, tablet, laptop or flat screen.
Although the pandemic is subsiding and restrictions are being lifted, this expectation of service is here to stay.
Why?
Because it is convenient, which makes their life easier, and efficient, which saves them time.
Those are two powerful reasons to consider how you can provide your product or service in a new way.
1. SAME DAY DELIVERY
Thanks to Amazon, these are the three magic words buyers look for now when shopping. And, this business model doesn’t apply to just pizza and flowers anymore. People now expect it for meals, groceries, home goods, prescriptions and cars.
2. ONLINE SERVICES
From fitness workouts, legal consultations and medical appointments, people now want service providers to meet them where they are instead of going to their office/location.
